Tottenham Hotspur’s new “Under Armour” third kit, 2012/2013.

On August 29, 2012 Under Armour officially launched, through a video released by EA Sports for the upcoming FIFA 13 video game, the Spurs’ new third for the coming season of the Barclay’s English Premier League.

The top is a primarily black and gray creation, with touches of yellow on the neck and will go on sale on September 1, to add to their already-released home and away shirts.

The replica shirts will cost 60-70 Euros in Europe and will come with the name and number of the buyer’s favorite player.

Under Armour is the US leader in performance athletic equipment, footwear and accessories, and this technical sponsorship deal, signed as recently as 2011 and only coming into play this season, marks the first of its kind with a Barclays Premier League club. The agreement covers all Tottenham Hotspur’s performance equipment, training gear, and playing kit for Premier League and club academy teams, as well as a replica product for fans worldwide.

This major foray into one of the most competitive leagues in world soccer adds to the sponsorship deals that Under Armour has with outstanding world athletes such as Olympic gold medalists Michael Phelps and Lindsey Vonn, soccer player Bobby Zamora and American football player and three-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady.
