We share in children’s lust for life
In our role as a responsible company that is concerned about the welfare of our society, from time to time we gladly receive children’s field trips from a range of Peru’s education providers.
On this occasion, we had the pleasure of sharing our plants for a full day’s tour with students from state school No. 22023, in Huaytará District in the region of Huancavelica.
The day began with a welcome to our visitors from the company’s social welfare department, who proceeded to guide the group through our plants so that the children could learn a little about the textile and manufacturing processes that give rise to the clothes they see on display in our stores nationwide.
Our little visitors then partook of a tasty snack in our dining room, where they were very well attended while they spoke of their impressions of the visit.
The most enjoyable moment of the afternoon came when the children visited the company pets (deer, vicuna and llamas) at their home in plant 1323. All relished the moment and the opportunity to take some pictures with the animals.
The day ended with a fond farewell and the presentation of gifts, which were well received by the children. Ultimately, we firmly believe that a child’s happiness is priceless.
